4D modelshop grew from a materials supply store in the world's oldest architectural modelmaking company, Thorp Modelmakers, to a stand alone company that supplies anyone involved in 3D design.
Customers come from a wide range of disciplines including architecture, theatre design, sculpture, prop making, cosplay, landscape modelling, animation, jewellery, film, TV, special effects and hobbies.
The Shop stocks everything needed for scratch building.

4D modelshop organizes the annual model makers recruitment fair, New Blades, helping modelmaking graduates take their first step into the industry.

| Dry Transfers - choose between single colour, multi colour, metallic, foil or photo quality transfers. |
| Laser Cutting & Engraving - cut areas up to 1200 x 700mm and engrave graphics up to 1000dpi. |
| Resin & Metal Casting - replicate most 3D objects in either metal (spin casting), resin or urethane rubber. |
| Vinyl Cutting - precisely layered vinyl stickers for signs, stencils, masking, T-shirts, decorations, displays & branding. |
| In-Filling - the technicians have developed several methods of in-filling and marking surfaces with either enamel paint, spray paint, laser marking or with resin. |
| Artwork Service - a full artwork service is available for all of workshop processes. |
| Bespoke Model Trees - a dedicated in-house Scenics Team produces trees from photo references, plants and other landscaping products. |
