Model Making as a Career

Every professional model maker has a story. Most are stories of roundabout ways that they began their career. For some, it was a chance encounter with a project that they found so irresistible that they abandoned whatever else they were doing to join this unique field. For others, their educational path led them to work that they knew from the beginning would be a perfect fit for their talents, interests and skills.

Most model makers will credit a particular person, a coincidental job, or a course they took that launched their career. What is your story? What advice would you give aspiring model makers?
